At my work farewell dinner, my partner was presented with flowers - for her forebearance and support as I travelled with "the project" over the last year. It was a lovely gesture.
Fish eyes at a Chinese restaurant, Erina Fair, Gosford (file pic from the same day we saw KungFu Panda). The fish spent a lot of time just watching the people at the table - not sure the humans were aware they were under such intense scrutiny. The eyes are glowing because of the camera flash.
You have to watch out for these cables ... they have tiny little rows of "teeth". You have to hold them firmly behind the neck to avoid them, because once you get bitten by the technology bug - it's hard to get it out of your system.
Fundraising trivia night at the Marrickville Golf Club. As well as the traditional trivia rounds, there were True/False rounds, and more non-conventional competitions such as "Who has the longest hair" as shown here. After adjusting for height, and a late, blonde, entrant, neither of the two contestants shown here won.
(Doubledecker) Bus stop, outside Marrickville's Royal Exchange Hotel (which, incidentally, has UConnect free internet access - as does Gloria Jean's Coffee, a few doors away on the next block. MRCafe, over the road and down half a block also has free internet access. Yes, we are well catered for.)
