Wednesday

Hard at work cleaning Lars - but it may be difficult to see all 7 of us in this shot. I'm the one reading and having a coffee - and staying well out of the way of the professionals. (And there's another item off the To-Do list!)

Thursday

I pride myself on being able to "work" just about anywhere - but even I couldn't do what this man was doing on the bus one day last week!

Wednesday

World Youth Day comes to the QVB and surrounding areas of the CBD causing street closures and suggested early marks for office workers.

Tuesday

Actually Monday - because no-one would ever believe it had taken me 4 days to get into the Apple Store to hold an iPhone. The amazing thing was that they had working models so you could call and/or text from them in-store. (Thanks for modelling M.) And no ... one didn't leave the store with me - although it was pretty close for a moment there! And I wouldn't have been the only one to have caved on this spectacular device!

Sunday

Yum Cha with friends, Marrickville.

Saturday

ChinaTown, Sydney, in the lead-up to World Youth Day 08 - a lion of Christians - or would that be a line of Catholics?  They're the ones with the orange backpacks.

Friday

Just dessert.

Thursday

There's a story here somewhere - a bunch of balloons tree'd in the city. If there were half a dozen of them it could be "six in the city".

Wednesday

More research needed but it seems that between purchases of small tins of Milo, the size went from 250ml to 200ml.

Tuesday

Laksa-hunting at North Sydney took us to a small oriental eatery where the pigeons were inscrutable - but we could tell what was on their minds!

Monday

Meet Lars - our "new" car. He's the one on the right.

Sunday

Mmmm … bread as baked by my older brother Wayne. (He is his father's son.) It was very yummy.

Saturday

What is typically known as a "husband seat" where he (and, in this case, the kids) can wait while the SO (significant other) shops and runs errands/chores.

Friday

Egg section in a Manila supermarket - many types and colours.

Thursday

An unusual cuddly backpack on the bus. I like the skeletal structure.

Wednesday

The A380 over Marrickville today. By the time I realised what it was - had something to do with the noise it made taking off - I almost missed it.

Tuesday

Have iPod - will travel.

Monday

Plastic dust jackets … what will they think of next?
