Saturday

Buying for Christmas for that special someone who has most everything - including horses? The Greystone is hard to go by - a vacuum pooper scooper. It would probably also work if there were large dogs in the picture.

Friday

I stayed at the Downs Motel in Toowoomba recently, and this is the offering in the tea/coffee making drawer (there was an electric kettle as well, but it didn't fit in the drawer). The biscuits came home with me - but I wanted to take a photo to prove that they were special - Gumnut Biscuits.

Saturday

This is Lizzie and Elaine at our regular monthly breakfast - except I've missed the last two because I've been either waiting at home for the removalist to bring my goodies from the office (for the start of the new telecommuting era) or away in South Africa. It was good to catch up - and to show them photos on my blog (using the Treo 750). Upstairs, Muse, Summer Hill.

This is the fountain in the second coffee shop we visited today, this time to sit in the courtyard, read the newspapers and soak up some sunshine. Bo Bo at Dulwich Hill.

Friday

Africa - well part of it anyway. This is out the window of the plane on the way from Cape Town to Johannesburg (which gets to be Photo of the Day today because I've just started going through the photographs).

Thursday

Our friend Lizzie is back from her travels overseas today and we met her this afternoon at a new Belgian coffee shop in Italian territory - Norton Street, Leichhardt. It's the Le Pain Quotidin (Daily Bread) - and it was very nice (and yes, my coffee came exactly as ordered - flat white, weak and very hot ... but I couldn't find the handle on my mug at all!)

Thursday

Sunset over the Atlantic last week in South Africa.
