It's the equivalent of a public holiday in Bangkok today, so there wasn't much traffic. Seriously, the drive from the airport to the hotel took half the usual time (30 minutes instead of an hour) which left us plenty of time to go shopping (watch for a post on this on the Musings blog soon).

This is how my socks and smalls came back from the laundry today. This is probably premium service because I certainly don't get this at home.

Tuesday

Group dinner following a day of training. Venue: an Italian restaurant in the Greenbelt complex. (Alas, it seems the person who took the photo may have been drinking because it appears a little blurred - which is a shame since everybody had followed instruction and was looking at the camera.)

Monday

I know I want to blame the new suitcase for the sprained wrist, but it was really my own fault - and it's not too bad - just painful when I turn it to the side. Luckily there's a company doctor on site and I was able to have it seen to, strapped, and some painkillers prescribed. And, I can still type - although hand-writing is a bit more difficult!

Saturday/Sunday

Before travelling with the new suitcase, purchased in San Ramon (the last time I was in San Francisco), I took a photo in case I had trouble identifying it at the other end. (Now, really, it doesn't look that big and/or heavy does it?)

Friday

This is the highway you cross on the way to Corporate Headquarters in California - if you're walking. The traffic lights give you 30 seconds to get across the 9 lanes. (I am not admitting getting stuck on the traffic island the last time I was here.)

Thursday

Being a long-time fan of "bed goes up / bed goes down" imagine my joy at finding this: "desk goes up / desk goes down". It's a great idea actually - and I wouldn't mind one in the home office. Benefit - you can work standing up.

You'll need to look at this full-size to read the fine print - and still there's- no answer to that age old question. How long after use date is yoghurt good for? Does yoghurt spoil?
